MyFundedFutures consistency rule calculator

Does your biggest day break the consistency rule?

There is no single MyFundedFutures consistency rule — it depends on the plan and the stage, and Builder inverts what most traders assume. This tool applies the right rule for your situation, and where MyFundedFutures' own pages disagree it shows you both readings instead of picking one. Free, no sign-up. Verified 2026-07-25.

The rule is not uniform — and Builder is backwards from what people expect

The single most repeated claim about MyFundedFutures is that “there is a 50% consistency rule”. That is not a usable statement, because whether it applies to you depends on both your plan and your stage — and on Builder it applies at exactly the moment most traders assume they are past it.

Where we refuse to guess. Two things are genuinely unresolved in MyFundedFutures' own material, and we would rather show you the conflict than invent a number:

  • Rapid evaluation. The help-centre Rapid articles list “Consistency: 50% (Eval Only)”, while the homepage states there is no consistency rule on Rapid. Both are official. The calculator asks you which your dashboard shows rather than deciding for you.
  • The Pro denominator. The official consistency article states the rule against total accumulated profit in one place and against the profit target in another. These give different answers, so the calculator shows both, labelled with the phrasing each came from.

Breaking it does not fail your account. During an evaluation, falling foul of the ratio simply means you keep trading until it comes back into line — your biggest day gets diluted by subsequent days. At Builder sim-funded payout it blocks or adjusts that payout until the ratio complies. Neither is an account breach, which is the opposite of what many traders fear.

Worked examples

Example 1 — Builder sim funded, $1,200 best day, $3,000 cycle profit. 50% of $3,000 is $1,500, and $1,200 is under it, so the payout is not blocked. You have $300 of headroom before the biggest day becomes a problem.

Example 2 — Builder sim funded, $1,800 best day, $3,000 cycle profit. The cap is $1,500 and you are $300 over. The fix is not to close the account — it is to keep trading this cycle. Adding another $600 of profit from other days lifts the cycle total to $3,600, whose 50% is $1,800, which brings you exactly back into line.

Example 3 — Pro evaluation, $2,000 best day, $3,500 accumulated, $3,000 target. Against accumulated profit the cap is $1,750 and you are over. Against the target the cap is $1,500 and you are further over. Both readings are official and both say the same thing here — but when they disagree, the conservative reading is the one to plan against.

FAQ

Does MyFundedFutures have a consistency rule?

It depends on plan and stage. Builder: none in evaluation, 50% at sim-funded payout. Pro: 50% in evaluation only. Pro One Day Pass: exempt. Rapid: officially contradictory. There is no single firm-wide answer.

How is the Builder rule calculated?

Largest single profit day must not exceed 50% of total profits in that payout cycle, and it resets fully after each approved payout.

What happens if I break it?

Not an account breach. In an evaluation you keep trading until the ratio recovers; at Builder payout it blocks or adjusts that payout only.

Why do you show two answers for Pro?

Because the official consistency article states two different denominators — total accumulated profit in one place, the profit target in another. Collapsing them into one number would mean choosing for you and hiding that the source is ambiguous.

Is this affiliated with MyFundedFutures?

No — independent and free, built by KLinePic, not affiliated with or endorsed by MyFundedFutures. Always confirm against your own dashboard.

Sources and disclosure

Verified 2026-07-25 against the MyFundedFutures help centre consistency article and the per-plan guides, plus the public plan pages (plans overview). Where official sources conflict — Rapid's evaluation rule, and the denominator for Pro — this page presents both statements rather than resolving them. We publish no “the rule changed on date X” claim, because no official changelog exists. This page is informational, is not financial advice, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by MyFundedFutures.
